History lovers, and cocktail snobs alike... this one's for you!
Created in 1932, Death in the Afternoon is an alcoholic cocktail dreamt up by an alcoholic himself. Ernest Hemingway was the mind behind this nightcap of a drink, and recommended that you consumed 3-5 of these, in quick succession, on any given evening. We strongly advise that you do *not* try sipping on more than one, as you'll discover that first sip is probably plenty for the night.
The cocktail itself is simple enough with just Absinthe and Champagne, and we've done our best to replicate the chaos that is Death in the Afternoon in fragrance form.
Most describe the scent as a funkier version of clean laundry, but a few have also said it has a nostalgic note of a gummy candy we used to have as kids. Perfect for Halloween + the upcoming Fall months to bring some magic into your home.
Available in 8oz candle form only at the moment. But can be made into other products (ie: car diffuser, room spray) upon request- send a message if interested!
